It is that time of year again where weather conditions and freezing temperatures are raising havoc with the transmitters. All fixed locations are now off-air for the winter season.
Here is a look back at the 2024 locations where KLOKi radio was heard on the radio.

Mobile Broadcast Areas
Just because all fixed broadcast locations are off-air, during the winter months, does not mean KLOKi radio cannot be heard on your FM dial. It only means that broadcast areas and times are limited.
Winter broadcasts are limited to rush hour periods only (3:00 pm to 7:00 pm) and air for one week at a time in the areas listed. Check back daily to see if and when KLOKi radio will be along your commuter route.

Listening Booths
Skateboarding can help youth by promoting physical fitness, building self-confidence, fostering a sense of community, developing resilience through overcoming challenges, teaching problem-solving skills, providing a creative outlet for self-expression, and encouraging positive social interactions, all while being a fun and engaging activity that can help them stay active and connected with peers. For this reason KLOKi radio likes to set up listening booths during the warmer months at popular skateparks throughout the greater Denver area.
I am able to tour popular skateparks using my mobile station that transmits between 1 to 3 miles. Aside from being a trailblazer introducing new music to audiences of all ages, as an extremely shy and elusive individual, my mobile listening station helps me overcome stage fright.
